Genesis 5: 24

"Enoch walked with God, then he was no more, because God took him away."

I have been deeply captured by the description of Enoch - his intimacy with God.

Enoch teaches me that intimacy with God is what it is all about.
His faith and personal walk with God should be desired by us all. 

To learn to live a humble life, always give thanks instead of complaints, and always pleading for others instead of thinking for our own interests.

There isn't any shortcut to gain this intimacy with God. Give of our time to know and learn from God. Let our mind be filled with God's wisdom, our heart filled with his compassion and love, and our lives reflect his goodness and grace.  

God is Always there and He raise us up in all circumstances, so that we can face each day and venture into future in confident. He know us more than ourselves, He raise us up more than we can be. Another Secret Garden song You Raise Me Up.

求你以你的真理引导我，教训我，

因为你是救我的神，

我终日等候你。

在今天的生活中，我们很难等待，任何的事情都要马上解决。虽然很多的时候，我们处理问题的方式不能真正解决好问题，因为很多问题是需要在时间中慢慢改变。但是我们没有忍耐，也不能忍耐。我们是缺乏忍耐的人。

这节经文告诉我们，我们可以在神面前等候，我们有上帝在我们生命中，有上帝的真理在我们的生活中，我们的生活可以面对一些不是马上就解决的问题，在等待中成长，学习更多依靠上帝，喊出上帝是我们的神。
